I'm unpopulare as well  I like option B
No, B isn't out of the question just yet. This male is now ruined so I might as well keep him and use him for breeding stock.

cation~ C does sound good on the surface. It could very well be done. But my old man is just that...old and lazy these days. But a fling may be just what he needs to feel young again. Hmm, decisions, decisions.
It's true. But he has previous experience, and worse case scenario, it doesn't work, you will know his breeding days are over, and can then try option A or B.

hmm, good points. I just went a made the rounds with some frozen brine, and I noticed he was flaring like crazy at mama fish who lives next door. Maybe, just maybe...this could be crazy enough to work.

I'd definately try with the new guy again in a bit, but maybe try with dad first! Could anything really BAD happen by tryin with him? I actually would love to know if there are some sort of possibly really bad outcomes!?

best of luck with whatever you choose! You'll get a "home run" sooner or later B)

You might try rotating the father and son with 4 females if you have them. It takes a little longer to re-condition the female, so I use 4 females to 2 males and just keep putting them in. If they are already tore up, no sense in shredding a different male you want to show. I'm ion that same spot myself. Either the females doesn't drop many eggs, or they have so much trouble wrapping, what eggs fall are not fertilized.
C'mon wuv...we can do this.
