Orange Betta

I came across an orange betta and decided to purchase it as i never seen that color being sold and it had amazing coloring. It has a few tiny spots of what seem to be black under the pectoral fins and a dot of white on the pelvic fins. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this color in a betta before? I will post up pictures of it soon.

Your male looks very similar to mines. I am interested in breeding them so i can somewhere along the line get pure breed fully orange. Heck i may as well upload a picture of all the betta's i have
I have 3 males and 1 female at the moment. The oldest betta i have is 6 years old and he has very interesting behavior such as hiding and laying down on top of plants and has amazing finnage.

I've seen orange bettas before but never had the pleasure to own a totally orange one. I did have a male VT that had a deep brown body and orange fins. He was stunning but died from columnaris after only a few days with me.

Tail biting is common in bettas, can be many reasons why they do it. Marmite just likes to be a PK rather than a HM

My betta's colors are weird. He is magenta. But his fins near his body are teal. When the light hits him he is really teal with magenta fins. It's strange. Ive never seen a betta that changes color in the light. Here are some pics.

I've forwarned my husband, if I ever come across an orange or yellow Betta I will set up another tank, that Betta is so coming home with me! lol
