Think i better grab some butane gas for my gas powered soldering iron and play zap the AP tomorrow, think i see a few little ap's on the same piece.

On another note i cant get a pic of them but on the same piece of rock i noticed 2 orange blobs, like a jelly blob one was open before retracting and it had arms with small white "balls" on the end....any ideas??

Is also a torquiose blob on another piece of rock but its not opened yet

With regards to the snail I dont think it is either of them. The bumble bee has a *smooth shell and the sundials is flat rather than longer. I never got an id on mine but it does look identical.

with regards to the small white blob with arms that have balls on the end it sounds like a corallimorph have a look at the link below:

With regards to the snail I dont think it is either of them. The bumble bee has a small shell and the sundials is flat rather than longer. I never got an id on mine but it does look identical.

I agree, don't think it is a bumble, although sundials as you say have a flatter shell, the larger ones seem to have that conical middle bit ---- well the one in my tank that could quite clearly be seen munching on my zoas did to be honest, for the sake of a few snails (if you intend keeping Zoas) I wouldn't chance it.

Burn that Aiptaisia, just be careful, sometimes they pop and make you jump, wouldn't want you dropping some lr on your toes

Well the new rock is here and in, got a Tunze 7091 controller unit and power head in there now 12000lph anyone say washing machine! its bouncing off the back glass to deflect the flow a bit.
Bought me a Seio 6000lph powerhead too but thats still in the bag. I got a box of rock left too, but will store it dry and use to bulk out my upgrade system in future these pieces werent cycled anyway.

Auto top up unit will be next to sort out, mate forgot the top up tank doh!

Also got me a Deltec Phos reactor, just gotta figure out how to plump it to the system think i better buy a external to attach to it as i run sumpless.

I'll grab some after i have been Aip hunting as the scaping is not quite there as wanted those pieces within easy reach not buried under other rocks where they will be going.

Found some more of the little demons!! got me butane refil so off for some cooking

And a tank shot with new rock in place, although the aiptasia covered pieces may be re positioned after cooking the aips although i have a nice cave/tunnel section in the middle.

also got the phosphate reactor but nothing to run it with at minute

Aips i believe are all gone, they cooked well sizzled a touch

My smaller ones managed to avoid the soldering iron well some of them so might knock the end of that rock off if a second soldering iron attack doesnt work. I have no syringe but mate did give me some Kal powder and said make a paste with lemon juice and feed them it and watch the reaction.

ALl yesterday and the night before i had an annoying vibration in a pulsing fashion i couldnt figure out where it was coming from.

I heard it again last night and turned powerheads off one by one and found that it was my koralia 3. Took it apart fiddled a bit and now its silent

Oh and i heaerd a loud click/tapping sound last night from what i can remember thats not good is it?
