There lived a kitty with evil powers.... she could explode things with gamma rays that shot out of her eyes...
This made the dogs kind of nervous... they were always on their guard watching for those darn gamma rays...
The dogs prayed to their higher powers that the evil kitty would be run out of their lands forever as they really didn't dig the notion of being exploded with gamma rays.... they prayed with their eyes closed....
They prayed with their eyes open...
They prayed separately.... they prayed together...
The prayers took a hold of the evil kitty and she decided that it was no fun being evil, besides which, sometimes she'd misfire her gamma rays and she'd ruined more than one of her own beds... so she became a good kitty and a kind and beautiful ruler....
And peace spread throughout the lands once again....
