If betta_lova is telling the truth, he should be able to answer the questions people throw at him. I'm sure he'll be able to defend himself w/ the truth... maybe he won't need external help then, eh?

Honestly....I cant tell is someone is trying to pick on someone because of an argument or if someone is lying.....its a forum guys... hey my friend, chill out there. Please if you want to read the full series of posts go ahead, (it is obvious you didnt by your comment) But what ever my friend. If you want to get into the conversation welcome aboard we will talk about this "situation" but the disecting of the facts should be done and over with. I am just trying to figure out why he droped a bettamax pill into a tank with a fish after they fault. a 2 gallon tank at that.
#1 the medicine has to be dissolved before it is introduced to the tank or dissolved in the tank where the fish cannot ingest it. Ingesting is fatal.
#2 1 pill treats 5 gallons not 2, you are over medicating
#3 bettamax is for infections, this fish wasnt infected, it was in a fight and had some torn fins. The proper treatment is to salt the water to promote healing. Bettamax cures infections the fish wasnt infected .
#4 the treatment is to be given over 3 days so one treatment wont work in the first place.


Ok anyone else want to give applause for over medicating a fish that wasnt sick?

so please lets not applaud a bad deed, his intentions were correct , but the results werent appropiatte. Now do I still need to chill out? please read the history or at least for this post or at least understand if he is telling the truth he probably poisoned the fish.

hehe i love the fact that you suck some meds into there tanks for them, thats super cool. plus i dont think betta max would harm any other fish if it were to get in other tanks or come in contact with other fishes (if im incorrect pls correct me!!) so smart move.

ahs unfortunately i must take back the comment about how i liked that you medicated the fish. after reading what the others have said i realize how dangerous and reckless your actions were. you're lucky you havent got caught or that fish didnt all go belly up (i guess we dont know if that's happened yet - but most hopefully not).

This was the first specifically designed medication for Bettas. Later, it was found to work equally well on guppies. This is a biotic blend of Nitrofurazone, Sulfamethazine, Sulfadiazine, Sulfathiazole, Methylene Blue, Polyvinilpyrrolidone (PVP) and Vitamin B12. It is effective against Split Fins, Holes in Fins, Body and Fin Fungus, and Collapsed Fins. Each capsule is designed to treat 5 gallons: cut in half if the betta is in a smaller container. Treat betta bowl once and leave for two days. Change water and repeat treatment if necessary. BETTAMAX will color the water blue. The PVP is added to condition tap water during medication. (Sold since 1979).

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've seen on here. I understand Beta_Lova has stretched the truth, made up stories and tried to snipe bids. I totally sympathize with you Rolln. I was upset right along with you. But I am sick of reading these lame threads in which everyone jumps down Beta's throat. It seems to me that at this point you along with several others are only trying to make Beta look dumb. Every topic he has posted in lately has had a snide comment directed at him.

Instead of replying to his stories, why not just be the more mature adult and either keep your mouth shut or try to reason with him?

after researching several sites all of the sites say treats 5 gallons, like the one in the link. But the actual site says 1/2 gallon, possibly someone read .5 and typed 1/2 on the site? Anyone got a bettamax package handy?
