I swore that I'd never get another betta but there is
one at work thats just too nice to pass up, so I'm considering it.
My question is
do you think this tank will be ok to divide
and have 1 male and 1 female in, or possibly two males?
it is rated at 5 USgal.
the only thing is; it is 7.5" at the widest (back to bow)
and 6" wide at the sides.

I'm no expert but I think 2 bettas will be great in that tank since they'll have 2.5g each, thats alot of room for them to swim and flare.

yup it will work its bigger than the jars people keep them in anyway.
just out of interest how much was that tank if you bought it??
my betta could do better with a new tank and tank mate.

RRP is £49.99
my works are selling them at £39.99,
plus I get 20% off :) making it £31.99

Either way you decide to do it (one male, one female, or two males), it'll work just fine. They should be quite happy in something like that.

are you getting a heater or keeping the light as the heater

I have a spare 50W heater, so that could go in there :D
