oh my god i dont have a clue wats going on
body count over night and yesterday 20
stock 55 gallon allittle overfull with guppies and endlers
about 10 platies with babies at 8
3 male mollies
2 serpae tetras
3 neons
2 catfish one sick with somthing else?
the livebeareres are all scrunching in the corners
taking some water to be tested by lunchtime
ive noticed the fish were perfectly fine and then bam dead
only thing differenty wsa move and the tap water was put in 2 days aggo
cant think of anything but well nothing
help

Do a big water change, something nasty/poisonous could have got into the tank?

Are you now able to do water changes? If I am remembering correctly... is it your parents that don't let you/help you do any water changes? If so, have you changed the water too suddenly and shocked them? Have you maybe not put in any dechlorinator?

i also have 3 otos
water change or gravel vac cuase we did bot 2 days ago well half the gravel we moved maybe the water
yes i am yes i have those parents who are now being wonderful i dont think so
also my haeter cracked while out of the water 40 dollars 2 years down the toilet not literally we got a heater next day and is keeping at 72 80 but want it to be at 82 85 before all this crazyness

When you preformed the water change did you match temp of tank.

What symptom are the fish showing?
Do you have test results in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph?

Any signs of gasping at surface of tank?
Laboured breathing?
Darting, erratic swimming?
Any excess mucas on fins, body?

Symptoms:

This disease is named for the curious behavior seen in afflicted fish. Fish will swim with an odd, shimmying movement of the body. If left untreated, the afflicted fish will become unable to swim and will sit on the bottom, listlessly shimmying. This disease affects mostly livebearers, and particularly Mollies.


Cause:

Cause unkown but may be due to a variety of numerous pathogens, including protozoan, bacterial, and fungal.


Treatment:

Isolate the fish in a hospital tank and increase the temperature to 85�F (27�C). Treat with a broad spectrum antibiotic. Also ensure that the water chemistry is within acceptable ranges. Livebearers' should always be kept in water that has a pH of 7.8 - 8.3 and a hardness of 15�DH+.

my dad bought ths thing to put in the filter for haevely stocked tanks and... it works no dead all swimming normaly YAY

That must be good i heard that fish would breed in the right conditions so it must be correct
