Nice Shrimp....but

I would love some yellow cherry shrimp but this just seems insane .

Since blues are even harder/ rarer in Australia I shudder to think what their going price is.

Sadly (or maybe for the best considering our current feral populations of all things imaginable) you can't even legally import shrimp into Australia. The few people that do have some of the more unusual shrimp such as these, blue and rili's are charging TOP $$. I mean $300 for a shrimp , that could die at the drop of a hat .

Oooh, they're gorgeous! I'm just about to get some red cherries for my tank but now I'm debating a few of those too... Are you negotiable on price, Ianho? Presumably the two are able to interbreed? What would the results of red + yellow be?

sorry missed this one guys, when they do breed i shall be selling them on. They haven't bread yet though. I shall let you know.

There cherry shrimp and they haven't bred yet ..... Just joking, I believe the yellows breed just as prolificallly as the normal reds, so I am tipping 6months and you will be starting to wonder where on earth your gonna put them all.
I am quite proud of myself at the moment I found somebody selling Caridina confusa and a few other natives, and am hoping they might also have some North Queensland Zebra shrimp. If I can/ do get some of these shrimp I will definantly be posting pics.
