Greetings all!
My name is Silver1, I currently have 2 fish and an aquatic snail. A female Plakat named Jaws. A male veil tail named Admiral, and a golden apple snail (brig) named Bob. Bob and Admiral share a tank, and get along great. Jaws I only got yesterday, so named because of the way she attacks her blood worms. (They’re freeze dried, and most of my betta’s nibble them. She actively stalks, attacks, and ‘kills’ her blood worms.)

So anyway, I have 4 tanks now, a 1.5 temporarily housing my teeny-tiny Jaws, a 2.5 housing Bob and Admiral, a 10 gallon I just bought yesterday. (A fabulous find! I went to a garage sale and found the tank, a heater, a filter I can’t figure out how works, a thermometer, an air pump, some bubblers, a gravel vaccum, a background, and a whole bunch of decorative jewels for the grand total of…$5.) and a 25 gallon, currently unoperational until I replace the filter.

I eventually hope to move Bob and Admiral into the 10 gallon, Jaws into the 2.5, and do…something…with the 25 gallon.

Anyway, to support my habit, I sell books on E-bay, though I admit I keep as many as I sell. So PM me if you ever want any and…um…

Please tell me about your fish! :)

Hi welcome to the forum. Its a very freindly place with great members willing to share advice and stories.

I keep a coldwater tank and a tropical tank at the moment but as soon as i move out I plan on a huge (150 gallon huge for me anyway) tropical tank and a huge( 120 gallon) coldwater tank for fan tailed goldies and white cloud mountain minnows.

OooOooh! Sounds good! Would that cold water also be fresh?

You never specifically mentioned whether they were freshwater or not. I assumed the tropical one was freshwater. No need to get tense over it. :)
