Hi all, here are some pics of my two new catfish, a Zebra Plec (maybe Chocolate Zebra?) and a Royal Panaque which has some interesting features.
Would be great if someone can confirm the identity of these two fishies, they are both superb looking fish...

The first fish looks as though it could be L199, sorry no common name and the second is a Dull eyed royal pleco, L191.
Got that from the Planet catfish L number data base.

Thanks CFC, spot on with the Panaque. L199 sems to have more and thinner stripes from the different pics I've seen tho. L173 sems to have the thicker stripes but still in a horizontal pattern...

Thanks JHT!!
I think it might be a female, cos she looks like she's looking at her reflection in the glass wondering... does my bum look big in this??

:fish: I'd like to second that nomination for fotm.

Great pics, both of them! :D

Thanks guys for the nominations! :D :D
I found the Zebra plec in the Aqualog book 'Beautiful L Numbers' theres a pic in the back of new species that havent been given L numbers yet. The caption says its a 'new Xingu Zebra' but gives no other details.
Will post a better pic soon but as you can imagine he's very shy and its hard to get a pic without frightening him away...

Ok, he came out for awhile today after I did a water change, he was kind of hiding in the gloom at the back of the tank but I got this pic of him, its not very sharp but you get the idea...

Cory,
Do you have any pics of your clown Plecs L168? Im trying to eliminate them from the list of possible species he might be... The Planet Catfish pics look a litle like him but the descriptiion doesnt really match.

Thanks,

Ken

Ok, thanks to the guys at Planet Catfish, I think its safe to say its Peckolita L134.

Thanks Nj!
Heres an up close and personal of Mr Panaque. He looks huge but is actually only about 2 1/2nches
