seriously? Wow, I've always used it. I used it when I was 13, so I just kept doing it LOL. So, I'm better off putting in another bag of those ceramic thingies than carbon?Carbon is more of a sales gimmick to get more of your money than anything else.
Ya, in a healthy tank carbon really does nothing. It does have some uses such as if the tank has been medicated and the doses are finished it will remove left over meds. It can, in some cases, help clear a cloudy tank but that is about it.seriously? Wow, I've always used it. I used it when I was 13, so I just kept doing it LOL. Yeh I did kind of expect that.. however the tiny fish isn’t one I have bought. I bought 12 rummy nose and there’s still 11 in the tank. I don’t know we’re the tiny fish has come from ??Looking good James. Sometimes it is normal to get a couple of dead tetras once everyone has settled in.
That small one looks like one of your neons? Or cardinals?Yeh I did kind of expect that.. however the tiny fish isn’t one I have bought. I bought 12 rummy nose and there’s still 11 in the tank. I don’t know we’re the tiny fish has come from ??
One continuous 'lights on' is better for the fish that a split. The lights are on 7:30 - 8:30 am (1 hour)
Then about 1:30pm till 10pm
