New Tank! Taking Old One Back!

Well i'd work on me but i'm a self confessed soft touch when it comes to my off-spring, and they know it!

tell her you insist on trying to overstock your tanks so she should let you get a bigger one and get the fish you want.

I'm afraid its no good asking me about different fish stocks. I've just got a community tank and regular common fish probably a wee bit overstocked but I do lots of maintenance and they seem happy. I love 'em dearly though!! Let us know how you get on.

Wait till you get the tank, set it up with decs and plants and post a pic. When people see it they might give you more advice about what would look good with the set up ypu have.

- 6 neons (middle)
- 2 honey gouramis (top)
- 3 pygmy corys - (bottom)
- 4 guppy ( all over)

but loach im not betting on any thing due to how stubborn my mum can be!

5 guppies! minimum is 5 for male guppies!

Incase you dont have any luck in trying to convince your mum of upgrading, and you do go for the uno 500, try asking the store if they will take the fluval 1+ out of the kit and replace it with the fluval 2+ and pay the difference.

Most shops will only be happy enough to do so, as they get more £££ from the sale, and more repeat sales from the extra foams you get in the 2+!

goosd idea jacob, ill ask, i dont think my mum will let me have a rekord 60 as at the begginning she offered hers to me...i refused coz ui wanted a different one but i dont think she will go back on it will the stocking be ok with fluval 2, i might change the stocking tho, let u know!

new stocking for fluval uno 500:

- 2 honey gouramis = 3 inches
- 3 pygmy corys = 3 inches
- 6 neons = 6 inches
- 3 guppies = 3.6 inches
- total: 15.6 inches

Thats to many fish you need to puch for a bigger tank why spend more money on a smaller one makes no sense
