Hello everyone!
Today I noticed a new little friend hanging on the glass of my aquarium today! I just got in some new plants recently and I would assume that's where he/she came from. I've done some looking around and have not found any others, but they might just be small and hard to see. With that out of the way, here's my question: what kind of snail is he/she and is he harmful to plants/fish? If not I plan to move him to my 10 gal betta tank if that would be ok.

Could you include a photo please?

If it came with a plant it is most likely one of the small species of ramshorn or a species of physid. Look at the first species and the third in this thread https://www.fishforums.net/threads/freshwater-snail-species-in-the-hobby.424364/

Neither of those is harmful, but their numbers can get out of control. The best way to keep the numbers low is to make sure you don't over feed the fish. I have both in my tanks, they've been there for years.

Oh lol... I completely forgot the picture! He looks kindof like most of the snails on that list, ill be sure to take care with the population of them. Thanks!

Here's a picture, sorry that took so long, having trouble with internet.

They have a whole lot of common names, tadpole, bladder etc but the heading in the link calls then physids so I used that name to make them easier to find ;)

Yup, a bladder snail. I have some in my 29g tank.
