I guess i can post here, we've had a family fish tank for years now which i've been maintaining more and more, plus i've done a couple of weeks of work experiance at our LFS, plus read up a hell of a lot on fish :p
But it was only today i set up my very first aquarium from scratch. I've been pestering my parents to let me have my own fish tanks for snakeheads amongst other species and always no cause i have like 30 species of exotic bugs lol. But my sister wanted a fish tank for killifish in her room and she got the go ahead lol.
Anyway i brought the tank with her and its half each
She wants to get killifish and im looking at any other species of small fish such as endlers guppies, a small catfish and maybe some cherry shrimp/micro crabs, depending on what fish will go along with what.
I cant remember how large it is as i forgot the measurements, but here's a photo, just set this up today, i dont plan on stocking it any time soon and i want to plant the hell out of it :)

The tank looks pretty small but it's hard to tell from a picture. Check out some galaxy rasboras, they are tiny but very pretty. Shrimp would be good but there are no species of fully aquatic freshwater crab, so if you decide to go this route the crab will need access to the surface.

I like the look of the galaxies, as for crabs i was thinking Thai micro crabs which are like 1cm maximum and 100% aquatic i think.

Looks good! You couldn't have come to a better place for advice regarding cycling, planting up and stocking the tank! Good luck with the new set up! :D

Hi ,how many of each one were you thinking of getting?

No idea yet, i didnt mean all those animals in one go, just different idea's, hoping to keep the best tank mates out of that together :)
