new oscar......is somethingwrong?

i just bought an oscar today and when i put him in the tank he only stays at the bottom of the tank and wont move much.....does this happen to most oscars and when will he start moving around?

Most fish won't be swimming about right after you introduce them to a tank. They need to have some time to adjust to the new surroundings and water params, as well as recover from the trip from the LFS to the tank.

Oscars are HUGE sooks, wait till he turns pale, ive been told this is how they show us there not happy.Dont worry he will soon be begging you for food and then watching you eat!
