New Little Project

^^thats what i'm talking about! Just a little more spread out and you'll just about have cracked it. Get some carpet planting in there mate and it'll look stunning in that kitchen. :good:

Interesting read from Ianho's link, book marked that for myself for future reference.

I'm liking the rearrangement so much more than the previous one, definite improvement.

How's the Betta doing?

Cheers Ian, i'll have another play around and get the plants sorted.

Thanks Josh, and the Betta is doing okay. I think the lump is lowering in size as a result of not feeding it for the past few days. I will feed pea again tomorrow and report back. But he's acting okay, he's wanting food when I mess with the tank. He's currently in a fish bag whilst I mess about with his home.

James.

it can take ages to get the rocks right, but when you do, you'll know. I remember reading a journal on Iwagumi and the chap spent nearly 2 months rearranging the rocks, 20 pages later, he just gave up!lol

ps, the substrate looks better banked from back to front as it gives more depth to the tank.

Well I've scapes it and added the plants, I'm just watching the rugby so the pics will be up within the next 45 minutes :good:

Cheers bud!

I do hope the plants do well, it's not as if they are getting an excellent source of co2. Just Seacham flourish and the optimat stuff. The lighting is pretty standard, but have the substrate.

Stocking is still undecided, wonder whether the fighter will restrict it or not :\ Cherry/Crystal Red shrimp are musts though :good:

I do need to fill the tank up

James.

;)

Take a deep breath JoshW before you see these pics :good:

Cheers Josh, I like him. Had him about 6 months now. Just wonder whether he'll be a nuisance in the future as I want to add a small shoaling species. Like Micro Rasboras, but I don't want them living in constant fear.

Love it, that rock lay out looks amazing.

Cheers Jamie :good:

Tank looks great James, the fighter will more than likely be ok as long as no-one bothers him, i've kept males with all sorts in the past :good: its just a matter of observing for a while.

Does he flare a lot?
