Starting a new tank, last one was a disaster, so cycling properly this time, 4 weeks, bio stuff to put in water over a period of time etc.

Ive got a 6 gallon tank (UK), Aqua40.

What kind of fish could i keep in it? My fiancee would love some dalmation mollies, but is the tank to small

any help greatly appreciated.

:hi: to TFF!!!!

I believe that tank may be too small for those fish.

What kind of test kit are you using, and are you adding a source of ammonia?

Also, what kind of "bio stuff" are you adding to your tank, as products like that do not work. That is ones that claim they help or speed up a cycle.

Welcome to the forum Doublecrossingtime.
Most of the "biostuff" is worthless. We seldom even see a claim on here that it has worked for anyone. Once you have done a proper fishless cycle, you will be looking for rather small fish such as Heterandria formosa or Xenophallus umbratilis or other similar tiny fish. Such fish can live and thrive in a tiny tank as can things like shrimp. I have a link in my signature area to a thread on the fishless cycle so that you can find it easily. Please have a read through of that thread and come back with the questions you are bound to have after reading for the first time.
