New fry . . .what to feed?

My moms platy gave birth to 4 fry (that we have no of and caught) now the question is what to do with them . . .they are in a nusery and how long should we keep them there? what should we feed them? thnx in advance for ur responses

Only 4?? anyway...with only four fry its a tad differnt. I was going to reccomend egg but there is not enough fry. Ok...what you could do is get a flake or two (since theres only 4 of them) and really grind them into small sand like particles if you like. feed them that

from my expereince i would say you should put the fry in a breeding net or similiar thing and feed them liqui-fry or crushed up flakes and keep a good look out for other fry

You're going to want to keep them away from the other fish until they are big enough that they won't fit in the mouths of the other fish. Maybe even bigger so they don't get bullied a lot. I've had mine away for about 3 and a half weeks, and they are still way to small.

When you feed them make sure you only feed them a TINY bit. I only feed mine as much as they can eat before the food hits the bottom, but I do it 4-5 times a day.
