Aww, too bad he's behind the tube...cute face though. I love spiney eels. I used to have one in my previous tank, and he was such a cutie!

managed to get a better pic... He's camped on a leaf with loads of hair algae, but don't want to get rid of it, as he is at home here now...

He knows this is where we drop the food, and he comes right to the surface now for it

He should have his own tank soon, but he is still so small

could i have some info on the red bellies, what tank mates? food? breeding? water requirments? please . Great pic's by the way.

There isn't much info I can give you really on Pirahna, as I am a newbie to keeping them. They are still very small at the moment and are in a tank with danios and minnows, but are starting to nip their fins. There are also some shrimp in with them.

I do know that they don't like much light, so there are lots of hiding places in there.
I have some driftwood floating on top of the tank as well that they love hiding out under.

They are also eating most flake foods (they don't like the cheap stuff) and love blood worm / live tubiflex...

I have fed them cockles as well, which they demolished
