I got a female guppy last night mostly to have some live snacks for the rest of my fish every now and then.
(still havent gotten any of my other fish)

and when feeding I noticed that she only eats the red flakes, but really attacks them fast, its real neat but odd...

No real point to this, jsut sharing something I found neat.

also what else can I be feeding my fish? I feed my bottom feeders them pellets that sink but the corry still likes the flakes that hit the bottom more, and even at times stays about mid tank to get them as they fall.

You might want to think about adding some kind of frozen food to the menu... like bloodworms, brine shrimp, or mysis shrimp. The latter is kinda big, so your guppy might choke on it! But they are "cleaner" than brine shrimp, and will be good if you get larger fish.

My cories like to eat Wardley's Slow Sinking Crumbles. The other fish do too, so the cories have to settle for what actually hits the bottom. :shifty:

with the frozen food will the bottom feeders eat it too?
I have algea eaters that well they are running out of algea (that I can see)

also I'll be picking up my kalui loaches on thursday, would they eat the frozen stuff as well as the slow sinking crumbles?

most of my fish are pretty small (well will be)

I will second that heresmike my cories go wild after they have a feed of frozen treats. Its like they are looking everywhere for more and then they come to the front of the tank as if to say wellllllll .......

I've noticed some of my fish only eat certain colors too!!! -_- :alien:

Funny creatures they are!!

I'm sure it's because the different colors in your food means different ingredients......red - meat, green - vegetable, orange - beta carotene and yellow ??? Can't remember what my can said was in the yellow!!
