Well its official now. If all goes well, this Thursday I will be getting my new cories. I was able to get some really good ones this time:

5 of C. duplicareus young juveniles
3 of C. axelrodi young adults
6 of C. aeneus Peru gold shoulder breeder colony
9 of C. venezuelanus - Young Adult

Im very excited about the C. duplicareus. They were a rare find :good:

I will have some pictures when they get here.

Hi Barracuda518 :)

What a nice selection! Good luck with them all!

I can't wait to see the pictures. :D

Thanks! I cant wait to get them. I cloned a tank for them last night, so everything is ready to go. There is also some space set a side for some certain cories Im hoping to get soon :D

Hi Barracuda518 :)

Just a suggestion, but you might want to run your filter in another tank, or put some other fish in your waiting quarantine tank to keep the beneficial bacteria alive and going strong. While I might get the tank set up ahead of time, and run the filter empty, or just run an airstone in it, I like to wait until the fish are actually here to put the bacteria in the filter. That way, if the fish are delayed, there is less chance of losing the bacteria.

What carrier will they be shipped to you by?

Oh! I'm looking forward to the pictures!

You have a right to be excited. :hyper:

Good question.

We are going into the cory season. It's a good time to order from betta dealers. I often have found mine on Aquabid. From there you can build a relationship w/a dealer.

Some suppliers are in Asia. I really don't know. But you can PM the sellers on AquaBid and ask. I would guess that there could be a connection there, because many suppliers are also handling Thai Betta and other fish imported from the East.

I just started the filter last night at 11:00 and the fish are supposed to be here tommorrow. Do I need to move that filter to an established tank and let it run? I could take the filter sponge out and put it back in the other tank and just run the filter. There is already and airstone in the tank.

I also can get some of that Biospira stuff to and add it when the fish get here.

They are coming USPS express mail, only choice I had.

where are you getting all these great corys from?

Aquabid and from other people's reccomendations of sellers.
