I have seen these and thought to myself,
what an interesting idea. I can see cleaning
the bottom parts may be a problem, but other
than that there is nothing that jumps out at me
as a major setback.
I'd hate to think how much they would be :S
So any opinions?

Very nice....but one draw back i can imediatly see...

The weight would be un-equal and favour one side, which wouldnt be too smart an idea.

Would those small wheels really be able to hold all that weight??

That looks very cool.

But as you guys have said, there are major problems with weight distribution...

i like it ............but dont fancy getting out the snorkelling gear to clean that deep bit! :D

the way is see it about the weight thing
the tall bit would be supproted by the base of the tall bit, the top part would be supported by cabinet sides, the entire weigth would be evenly distributed by the subframe (the bits the wheels are attached to)

those wheels look like industrial rubber casters, and should therfore be suitable for the tanks weight.

Having read the responses so far, I've decided to wait a few days for any other comments and then email the makers to see how they answer them. I'll ask for dimensions, volume, cost etc as well

Maybe they compensate with something inside or underneath the right hand side of them. It could be easily done if weight was a problem. Just add a steel plate or something more substantial.

i spotted them the other day aswell, seemed quite nice although stocking isn't going to be anything special really would have to stick to small fish unless there bigger than they look.

Mmmm I see logistic cleaning maintenance nightmare. What if a fish is stuck or lying dead on the bottom of the tall section  All in all I just don't like the idea.

They are interesting. I'll give them that. I prefer the others they have their though, but have to wonder about some like the whole wall, where to get in to maintain it etc. Practicalities need to be thought about though. My hubby and I were throwing ideas about previously and I like the idea of having a bath tub pond for larger fish etc.

Just ideas/creativity. Its all good if you can get them to work I guess...and not put the fish at risk. :D

certinly interesting and looks nice, but what benefits does it have?

Aesthetic.... It looks nice.... but for me (and hopefully most people here) thats' not enough. IMO, it needs to be practical, pretty and fish-safe.

I am sure the weight will not be an issue. Whoever has designed this has likely fixed that problem.

I think it looks kind of neat, but I would not like one.
