he was $15. his butterfly patterning isn't the best, but i don't care, i saw him and thought he looked so regal, i had to have him

she was actually a freebie! i was deciding whether to get a gold female or a red gold female to go with the red gold male. i chose the gold female and then a little later the breeder decided he was going to throw the red gold girl in as a gift

i finally named them, too, the red gold male is Helios, the red gold female is Eos, and the gold female is Selene.

they're almost 3 months old now it's interesting how the boys are a deeper orange, and the girls are essentially bicolored (light orange body, darker orange fins). i love them all

ETA: Did you ship through a transshipper or did you collect them at customs yourself? If I could get the breeders to ship to the nearest international airport, I'd happily deal with customs if it meant I could save myself the cost of the transshipper.
