I was not planning on getting a second betta, but my neighbor wanted to go to Petco. He wanted a betta. He got one and I found this guy:
His name is Marlin (a form of Merlin, which means "sea fortress"). I have him in my community tank and he gets along with my other fish. My husband was convinced that you could put two bettas together... Flash is in a tank on my desk where I spend most of my day at.
I LOVE Marlin's colorings. His fins look like someone took an ink pen and colored them in. You cannot see it clearly in the photo, but there's pink in his fins. His "arms" (for the lack of a better word) are black and his cheeks are trimmed in black. He has a pimple like growth on his head that is a deep blue. Absolutely gorgeous!
