New Betta- Fins Arent Looking So Good

the red looks like normal coloration. as far as his fins, you certain they havent been sucked into the filter. That looks like filter damage to me or tailbiting, and not finrot. Keep water clean. I would not raise the temp any more as will make bacteria multiply faster and might casue secondary infection. As others have said, just keep up with the waterchanges..and perhaps put some tights over the filter inlet.
cheers

I was just thinking that maybe hes biting his tail, because the fins that are under his body seem perfectly fine. but his top fins and tail are horrible :( im going to update the OP with a pic i just took. Also, i need to learn the actual names for all his parts lol. I will also cover the filter intake just incase.

The answer was: Hes a tail biter. Now to figure out why lol

does indeed look like tail biteing, the most common causes of this are either stress or bordom, try moving his tank around, placing new thinks outside his tank to keep him amused, try showing him a mirror for 5minutes a day :good:

I wonder why betas bite tails mine bites his at the rate it heals like a never-ending scab
