Hey guys, just after a little advice

I've rescued 4 female bettas from going down the drain and currently acclimatizing them before they go into the 240L tank. My only worries are the tankmates.

what do you guys think are their chances against the Angels and rainbows? I'm thinking of putting other fish up for sale but wondering if this is just a knee-jerk reaction to my new fishies?

Thanks

Kevin

Adding any new fish to a set up will upset it for a while, not the best of tank mates but sound better than going down the drain?? why was that happening, well done you for the rescue,

I over heard a guy down the street mentioning it to the postman as I was going out to work. Apparently he wanted to keep cichlids and was going to the LFS tonight to get some.

I told him to wait until I finished and now they are in the tank. Tell you what, they dont like the powerhead

they should get used to the power head kevin unless they are very powerfull ones? like me your addicted to betta fish lol id rather get rid of my tank mates then my betta :D

just a quick update. I have seen 2 of them this morning but still waiting on the other 2. They all have unique markings/colouring so are easy to keep track of which I've seen.

Sky (silver body and blue fins) & Violet (silver body and blue/red/purple fins) is still to show themselves but Albi (white body with red fins) & crystal (silver body with blue and red fins) have been noticed.

Its strange how these are the only fish in the tank with names, whereas we always used to name our fish. Odd thing is that crystal was names as her fins are the same colour as crystal palaces home kit, and I'm a black and white through and through

two quick photos of Albi. Not great quality though

Congratulations on your new girls. They all sound lovely,- and Albi is a very pretty little cambo. I have a large female angel fish in with my female betta sorority and have never had any problems with them. You can get away with a lot more if the tank is big enough!
