Again!!!! Very beautiful setup!!! TOTM!!! Aren't mag-floats the best!!!??? I have 4 of them....and love them!

Hi Lizard,
The substrate is just fine (2mm) gravel. The bottom layer is a mixture of black and white from my old 30gal tank and the top is black gravel. It will all turn greyish after numerous gravel cleaning sessions, as it did on my old tank ;)

Nice One.. What are the dimensions of ur tank m8? and how much did it cost ya? if u dont mind me asking..

Me thinking of upgrading now...

I have a 48X12X15... its big, compared to others.. but i feel its sooo TINY! -_-

Hi UM3R,
The tank, base unit, hood, lights, Rena filstar xp3 filter and a protine skimmer cost me £300 on Ebay. The tank is 18 months old and was used as a marine set up. It is 60" x 18" x 24" tall.
And I'm really chuffed with it :D :D :D
Regards
Jim

Nice tank!! V nice setup!

I have got a new large tank recently also, (65g) but only have a couple of large Angels and a couple of ancistrus in there at the mo....

How many angels do you have in your large set up Jim ??? Wondering if I might be able to get some more .....

Very nice tank. I was thinking of buying a tank from ebay, but was a bit unsure. How did you find it?

Ed

Hi Jumpman.
I only have 3 angels, which are my most recent additions. As they are cichlids, I was a bit wary of adding them to a community tank but they seem to be OK with the rest of the crew at the moment, although they have there beady eyes glued to the fry enclosure
Ed,
I just did a search on Ebay for aquariums/fish tanks. I had to wait a few weeks B4 the right one came up for the right price. This one was only 18 months old so I was reasonably sure it would be in pretty good nick..... which it was :D The most important thing to do is to agree B4 hand with the vendor that you will only part with the cash if you are totally happy with it once you have examined it. If they dont agree to that, then they are most probably hiding somthing or it is not exactly as described on Ebay.
Thankyou all again for your kind comments :fun:
Jim

I have to say that it is one of the better tanks i have seen on here
