Eragon and Buck are both still in tact this morning altho I did see Eragon chasing Buck quite a bit last night. Think Buck is getting his come-uppance for being a bit of a bully with his younger siblings in the platy tank.
They are still eating each others food - I'm not too worried tho as the food analyses are comparable and the pellets I've been giving the platies actually have more protein that the betta pellets found online by about 8% assuming that the ones the seller gave me are similar to proprietory brands I found information on.
I haven't managed to get a picture of them together yet as they tend to occupy different parts of the tank and when they do eventually get together it's so brief I haven't time to take a picture! lol
I have got a nice video of Eragon before Buck was unceremoniusly dumped in his tank, but I can't get it onto Facebook to copy for here 4 some reason - I'll maybe try Photobucket when I've got time.
I did notice last night that Mama (adult female platy) has a split dorsal fin so that tussle was even more aggressive than I'd originally thought. I'm so glad I got Buck out of there when I did. Can't imagine how it would have ended if it had happened whilst I was at work!
