New 250L Planted Tank Build!

I got my Harlequin Rasboras today!

YAY! 
 

They are a bit pale atm because they are only babies

also they were a bit stressed from the 40 minute car ride home.
 I'll get a full tank shot tomorrow of everyone

 
oh, also one of the rasboras thinks he is a neon and one my neons thinks he is a rasbora lol... they kinda switched places, I googled it and apparently they do that when sussing out new environments and they stop doing it when comfortable. So I guess we will see what happens in a few days

haha well here it is!
 

I got a red lotus and quite a few crypts today and planted them and thats why the water is so cloudy.
Should look awesome when its all established and growing

Where abouts did you plant the red lotus, I can't see it?

:O lol its near the back corner. It's still a bit deformed from shipping, the stems are long and a little bit bent so the leaves arent as spread out as they will be.

I thought it would be more red, which is what I was looking for. 
Can't wait to see it grow with all that CO2 in your tank

Haha yeah, hope it will colour up a bit when it gets established. Its got a new leaf on it which is a nice deep red xD pretty excited! haha

Whats happened about your CO2 thingy (forgot the name)? Is it fixed?

Ahh yeah my Co2 cylinder has what I think is a pressure valve, and what happens is when the Co2 is nearly empty there isnt enough pressure for the valve to seal properly and so the remaining Co2 was just coming out of the connection. I got it filled and all is fine, I think my cylinder is a bit small though so I might buy a Co2 fire extinguisher and hook that up

I finally got the flame tetras today! And now my tank is fully stocked Should have some updated pictures up in the next couple days
