I don't quite know how to say this and it is...... embarrasing (to say the least)..... "I've never bred swordtails succesfully".... There I've said it...

I've had the odd brood of 7 here and 11 there, but never kept swords as an ongoing concern as it is with the other live bearers..... Now, at my age, it is also an objective to breed these (in their thousands)...

I only realised this when my son phoned me yesterday to say that the pet shop in his city took some 50 off him...... I've never been sucessful with swords.

This is just an update of a very old thread (that deviated a little to DNN's impending wedding)..... here is the update.... photos taken today of my Sword pond.

Righteo.... so I guess I can also add Swords to my list of successfully bred.
