We have 2 beautiful Lionhead goldfish. They have become beloved pets, full of personality and fun to watch.
I had planned to sleep in this morning, but my wife woke me up and said, "My fish is dead."
I ran downstairs to find "Natasha" stuck behind one of the uplifts, head down and not moving. I grabbed the net and used the soft handle end to nudge her out. I was relieved to see a bit of movement and managed to free her from the trap.
I'm happy to report that she's okay but has a very mild case of the floaties. I'm going to tuck some plastic plants behind the tubes so this never happens again.

Are you feeding pellets and if so are you soaking them before feeding?
No pellets. She hasn't had the floaties since she was small. I think maybe it was brought on by being head down for a while. Swimming normally now.
