Name Your Fish?

I remember when I was younger, I used to love naming my fish. Now, I guess I'm just too lazy to remember names, but I was wondering if anybody did. If you do, what is the name of your fish/es?

I only do it sometimes, when I see certain traits (personality?) come out. My tank is new and I haven't named any yet, but there is a couple of standouts. The pleco that I had for 8 years was named Peter, because he loved peas, my "pea-eater" became "peter".

Yeah, umm so far the only fish that I have named was eaten by my cat...so Idon't think i'll be doing that anymore.

I named some of my fish, but when I got the livebearers I gave up,

5 golfish, nutmeg, dart, domino, honey, whisky

3 piranhas, julie, jim and dot

I do. My gourami's name is gourami my pleco's name is pleco and my rainbow sharks name is louie. I inherited him. Oh yeah guess I should have put down some of my fish cause you just can't name whiteclouds

My partner is more liable to name the fish than I am. She named the latest fry Jesus, Mary & Joseph. We have 3 Panda Corys named Jub, Jub & Horatio, a Sunset platy named George (Mildred died), Doris, Delilah & Mad Max 2 are Gold Sunset and a Comet Platy respectively, Blind Bob is a Bronze Cory and Tom & Jerry are Armoured catfish.

As I said 'She Who Must Be Obeyed' likes to name them!

Yes, I named my Beta fish Lola.

I name the ones I can tell apart from the others, such as my Bettas, and Kissing Gourami.

Only some.. A few unique fish get names.. My oscars have names.. I have like 30 cichlids that dont have names..

Whenever I name have named fish in the past, those have been the first ones to die, so I decided it was taboo for me.

I name some, well my kids usually do. But most are nameless.

I have the following names:
Mollies = Dynamite, Wally, Freckles and Baby Dynamite
Danios = Danny and Danielle
Swordtails = Hal and Weenie, Babylay and Midnight
Bettas = Moonlight (aka Mooney), Luna, Voodoo, Mojo, Nasty Girl, Koosh, Feather, Alpha and Pearl.

None of the others are named.

I name my fish, but I guess that's 'coz I have only two and I only keep fish that have distinct personalities/looks.

My blue marble CT betta is Rio, like the Duran Duran song 'Rio'. And then there's Jerry - Jeremiah - who I named because he just... looks like a Jerry. But there is that song that goes: 'Jeremiah was a bullfrog...'

(Anyone know who sings that?)

I used to always name my fish. When i first started with 3 zebra danios in a 5 gallon (no flaming please, this was my first cycled tank on crummy LPS advice) i named them zig, zag, and zip. Just don't ask me which one was which.

Now i name them if i can tell them apart, and i can figure out a name i like, usually off of their coloring or personality. I have named my opaline gourami Dudly after the harry potter character, because he is also a pig, a bully, and fat!
