Robot performance is strictly how the team's robot performed during the Game portion of the competition. The fully autonomous robot has 2:30 minutes to perform various tasks on a playing field. Up to 2 members of the team may reconfigure the robot and select a new software program to run when the robot is off the field. There are 5 rounds, with the Best of 5 being used to determine the winner.

There are also awards given for Robot design (Hardware and Software), Innovation Project (Very loosely related to robotics), and Core Values (Teamwork, sportsmanship). All of these categories are combined to determine a total score and advancement to the next level. I'm pretty sure that we would have won the best design, but outside of the overall Champion award I believe they have a one trophy per team judging rule. We hope to advance, but are awaiting results that are reviewed by GA Tech for our region.
