I am besotted by it! I want another big tank now as I know of some more stunners and some lovely slate blue orandas as well! I am half tempted to convert the community tank to another goldie tank but can't quite bring myself to lose my Pantanalensis cories to name but one fish

What filter do you use for that?

It must be hard to maintain. Goldies are messy fish.

I have 2 Fluval 3+ internals in there at the moment but am getting an Eheim Ecco Pro 300 external or similar next weekend and eventually changing the internals over for an Eheim Aquaball and keeping the fluvals running in my community tank as backups again :D

Just to update everyone with the tanks curently running...pics to follow tonight...

30L acrylic cube tank with chili rasboras and pygmy cories, amano shrimp

60L modified biorb with dwarf puffers

90L marine nano tank with perc clownfish, coral goby, starry blenny, various soft , hard and sps corals and snails

125L community with various tetra, cories, dwarf neon rainbowfish, dwarf bristlenose plec, shrimp and snails

140L brackish set up with figure 8 puffers and bumblebee gobies

180L coldwater set up with an oranda, black moor and calico ranchu fancy goldfish and apple snails

:D

How many dwarfs do you have in the 60 litre?

What happened to your multies

Technically speaking I am overstocked for a 60L by having 5 dwarf puffs but I get away with it with good filtration and 50% weekly water changes. I don't advocate overstocking btw.

Nothing happened to the multis...they are happily living with Kewskills now as I shut the tank down when starting this...

More pics of my coldwater set up. Sorry I didn't realise the glass was so dirty. I need to clean up the pics a bit :lol;

The elodea has grown like wildfire and the fish aren't chowing down on the other plants yet :D

Well, for the last day or so I have noticed in the goldie tank that things have been getting a little heated!

I noticed my blue/green apple snail hitching a lift on the back of the pearl apple snail and didn't think anything of it as it's not unusual to see that happen

Anyhoo, when I looked at the tank tonight, there is the blue snail doing exactly the same thing again. Aw how lazy, I thought, but on closer inspection, it would appear these snails are a bit 'closer' than I first realised...

What's strange about that? Well look closer!

No...closer!

I wonder if I'll have the trail of little slimers running round the tank soon?

WOW!! :hyper: So glad i found this thread, your tanks all look amazing!
You have real flair for tank design (IMHO  ).
Thanks for sharing the photos.
