Looks fine
But why not change to a sand substrate and even out things abit?

DD

slight rearranging, got rid of the messy rocks in the middle, and put some fake grass in the back. Ironically this is the best pic of my harlequins ive managed yet.

Hmmmm...natural vs non-natural = sand vs coloured gravel!!
If you are happy, stick with it, if you're not sure...fiddle. If you're happy....I'm happy!! Actually, I quite like it!!
Keep updating us!

I have thought about sand, but I have to move this tank next week, and so im waiting until the move to make my decision, since it would be so much easier to do then.

Other problem is, I cant decide if i want white or black lol.

i may not make sense but everything looks too....... even. it just looks to artificial. ill post pics of my tank soon which i just basically threw some plants and rocks in and let them lay like that. i move them around every few months but thats it. its just more natural this way

Well I decided im going to put the CaribSea Tahitian Moon sand in when i move the tank, The blue gravel was a carryover from the tanks goldfish days a long time ago. I think im going to replace the decoration/castle/inca thing with another peice of driftwood, Not sure what to do there yet. Will keep updating as it progresses.

Edit: Just removed the obelisk, and it actually made a big difference. Things dont look quite so placed anymore.

I dont think it looks artificial to me. I think it looks great. If I wanted to change it to sand I would. But in my opinion I wouldnt change a thing. :kewlpics:

Well I moved it over to sand today. Tahitian Moon by Carib Sea. At $1.50 lb im glad it turne out as well as it did or i woulda been angry

Anyways, The gravel is still sitting on top and it looks rather strange. All the fish have been lovin the sand though. Especially my khulis. They are already totally terraforming the bottom of the tank.

Anyways here it is: I'll try to get some new pics once i get to school and get the gravel out.
