cople of pic of the new Green branching (frogspawn/tourch?) coral. Was sold as Tourch but I'm thinking it's a frogspawn? Any help would be very helpful. The green is way more viberant in real life.

I'll have to do a big update soon.

Edit: Made my mind up it is a Green Tourch coral

Yeah, the defining characteristic of a frogspawn is that the tentacles branch. Torch just have long straight tentacles. Hammers have hammerhead ends, and galaxea are short but straight tentacles.

wow matt your tanks come on so much. well as im sure alot of people say you have inspired me to start up a marine tank. and have just recieved a quote on my tank so order for it goes in soon :D . so thanks for doing the run through of your tank and if mine looks half as good and goes half as well i will be happy.

Thanks for that Ski.

James B > hope I've inspired you well and you get a nice tank going. let me know the outcome.

Also I said I would be getting a bigger tank soon this has been put on hole because the girlfriend wants a Seahorse tank so watch this space.

Got the tank, LR, sand, lights, Powerheads, useing SW from my reef to start the cycle. I may have to start a new Thred for this one.

Please could someone help with a ID for this. found it crawling up the glass tonight or should I say slithering!

Never seen it before was dicovered by the girlfriend so I've called it Niveusfoliatus Jeniri

As you can see by the pic it a white THING! it's got a 2 anteni and a spike for a tail.

Any guess??

Got mor pics if you want?

the tail looks a bit like a sting to me so watch your hands untill youve got an id on it.

Closest thing I've ever seen to it is a Berghia Nudibranch. Its clearly a sea slug or nudi of some sort, but I've never seen that species... Man we see some weird stuff on our LR huh? :)

heh and I thought that bristleworms were ugly...

I'd just be careful it doesn't come out and get you when you're are asleep... :p

had a search and I came up with this: (german site I think...)

link

anything like it..?

dave.

It's close but the gills on the back (yes there gills! Nudibranchs is latin for naked gills) are flatter no rounder and stick up. Plus the Berghia verrucicornis seen there hasn't got a large spike for a tail. Thanks for the help tho! keep it up! Have found a sea slug fourm but its close till mid oct so I can't post anything.
