My River Reef 94 Marine Adventure!

That does look nice, but the Euphyllia is not fully extended, is that because of where it is or did something happen?

Well, usually on a hammer you cant see the skeleton at the top when fully extended

I'm wondering if it doesnt like where it is?

they were like that in the shop Seff

It was a big load of branches with about 50 heads on and they were selling them £6 a head. the branches on mine are about 4 inches long

I would move it further up and in more flow and see what happens - there is a gap on the left side of the tank about half way up?

just out of interest how much does your plate coral (fungia scutaria) move?

it hasn;t Harry asfar as I;m aware but it doesn;t half expand itself
I love it one of my faves in the tank

Photos will follow but today I bought a Sally Lightfoot crab, a sea cucumber (I think) and an elegance coral

I was hoping the sea cucumber would help with the brown algae (diatoms) on the gravel?

yes the cucumber will do that. it eats the sand and then craps it out :good:
but be careful if it gets hurt or dies it can take the whole tank with it
that elegance will look very beautiful in your tank  very nice coral indeed.
can i just say your tank has helped me place some of my corals in better places :good:

cheers Harry
thats the problem with reefing I think you look at other peoples and think theres looks better. I've changed so many times cos I keep looking at other reef pics, one day I may be happy with it :good:

also forgot to say to put covers on your power heads because you dont want your sea cucumber to get whisked up in it

cheers pal they have the fixed cover on

you got me worried now! lol

I remember when my sea hare went looking for food, went over the back of the tank into the skimmer compartment, got sucked into the skimmer, died, inked and caused me no end of trouble.
