i took out 3 caves took them out as i thought i wld off had my new caves on thursday but didnt come thru

as i have some bigger ones coming
2x 6x2x2 L.W.H for my common ones bns
2x 8x3x2.5 L.W.h for my longfins bns

very nice mate

two of my bn have started to grow bristles but one of them doesnt seem to be growing in size atall aparently females dont gro as quickly

you realy have shown the upside to longfins
many dontlike them but simply based on you pictures they are a stunning fish that doesnt deserve all its critical coments
such as its a genitic frak and it was bred like that

it looks cool !!!:)

im hoping to get som but as im quite new to te hobby
been doin it bout a year now
i see lol m to want every fish in the world lol but defs in my top 50 fish lol hehe
im thinking of stocking a 110 lirte with my synodontis multis so i will ave room in my pleco tank for som longfins
i will then add some livebearers (currently asking about easy ones to keep in common livebearer section) s i will double as a lb and bn breeding tank

do you keep any other bns
like albinos

ps the picture of your longfin against the glass from the outside is brilliant good luck with the young ones

i have 5 tanks biggest tank is 6.5ft and the smallest is 2ft

i have common bristlenose breeding pairs x4 and trio's x2 i did have a group of L182 bristlenose x11

i have loads of fry common one all brown but i do get albino fry out of my breeding bns

i have another breeding trio coming to 2mrw common brown olny plus hoping to get another 4 female longfins breeding size in the next couple wks

that will be around 25 bns ill have

i have abt 55 fry common brown bns and the other fry from my longifn male and common brown normal bns

Hiya Sean
Sorry did not reply..been on holiday abroad for the last two weeks and only got back very early this morning (2am) so have only just got back online.

My Bn's are all fine...still growing and alive! (I did worry abit as they were being starved for longer periods than normal while I was away)

Glad your babies sound like they are growing on well...and you are adding to your groups...are you going to be getting any Longfinned albinos?
