My New Longfin Bristlenose Has Breed For The First Time

hi every one again i am thinking abt getting some more bristlenose
ie longfins brown and golden bristlenose shell i have another male longfin or no to make it 2x males and 8 xfemales

i was thinking abt buying and got price for this lot

Golden Longfin Bristlenose (male)XL x1
Golden Longfin Bristlenose females breeding age x4

this lot going in my other tank

Gold Bristlenose females breeding age x2
Sexed pairs Golden Bristlenose Pair x 2

cant wait i have 3 longfin females coming in the morning ie tuesday

just for the male i have int i good

plus i have moved all the other bristlenose to my corner tank as the blockheads are gone for free

so i change the tank around got plants in there one big piece of bogwood
ill load up a pic 2mrw if i have time

plsu ill take couple pics of new fish and load them up on here or the other thread i have on bottom feeders

plus when the male has kicked out the fry ill add him to the tank

that i got to day great size one is just under 4ins i think

this one little smaller then the other one

the bigger 4ins one female both got from wildwoods shop

two more for my longfin male bns

the two big females need fatin up as they look like they not eaten for sometime belly looks empty


they looking ok feeding on the class plus i have put in a big piece of courgette

plus the common male bn hes been trying to chat them up chasing them

the longfin male not in the tank at the moment as he still in the 2ft tank with fry

sounds great woul you happen to know what age a bn is mature

6mths or 2ins breeding age they say

okay mine arnt 6 months but are about 5cms each which is 2 inches

some times take longer to tell if male or females males will grow bristles

i brought a 3ins female abt 4mths ago she has now grow bristles so never tell m8

my longfin male has came out of his cave first time for abt 2wks all the fry is now in the tank or in the breeding trap as shown

just put the male bk in the breeding tank with hes cave 15mins later he was fighting with the common male and he lsot out on hes cave

this pic was taken last night in the fry tank

fry are now in the fry tank out of the trap all on there own now
