Hey, looks good.... I read that you have a Canister filter, well.. how much live rock do you have? If you don't have enough lets say 1lbs per gallon... well your gonna need 2 add stuff other then carbon and po4 remover 2 your canister.. if u do have 1lbs per gallon and ur rock is cured.. then all you really want is carbon and po4 remover even from the start! and clean it very often... if u dont have 1lbs or rock per gallon.. let us know..

Yes I have roughly 1pd per gallon... I have a lil over 50pds in a 55gal tank. I was thinking on getting more live rock in the future.. By as you know its not cheap..
I got it from saltwaterfish.com its pre-cured from Fiji.. Check it out here

Ohh. What are some recommendations on power heads/oscillators for keeping current in my tank ??

whats your GPH from ur canister filter? u want a min of 20x ur tank... I like seio.. a lot of people like Tunze... some just use maxi-jets..
so lets say u go with seio.. model M620 twice that will give you 1240 GPH about 22 plus ur filter.. that would be good.. would maybe give u 28-30 a nice flow.

I've never seen that model before... well for one im no fan of suction cups, I never trust them! the inlets for the water seem 2 be small and only in the back i'd be a little worried u can always put foam... but donno... i wouldnt buy that, I like 2 stay with whats trusted and what people on the forum talk about and have used before...... change scared me
and it just looks cheap lol

OK guys I really need some suggestions on stocking up some fish and inverts... This is a 55gal ..They must be reef safe...

All I have in there now are my 2 lonely clowns. They want friends....
