I like that tower thing on the right.
Don't know what you call it.

:kewlpics:

Nice little Firemouth you have there. :D FOTM for the first photo.

im not too sure how to do this tank of the month stuff

but if i can nominate one now ill nominate that tank

its pretty cool looking... mysteriously cool full of deadly fish :D

those stacks of pot bottoms or whatever they are look cool... howd ya do that?

Thanks. :)

bettabananas: I bought the unglazed clay pots and saucers at a gardening supply place, soaked them for a few days, scrubbed them and soaked them again.

I used aquarium silicone to fix them together. The original idea was that because I have insufficient light, I had to get the plants closer to the light. Then it developed into caves/hiding places as well.

I'm working on building a bridge between the two pot stacks for more planting near the light.

The firemouth spent the first day and a half mostly hiding under the right side stack. Now he rarely goes under. He apparently is happy. The cae likes going under the stacks too.

ps I wasn't sure if the grasses (don't actually know what they're called) would thrive that far from the light but they seem to be doing well and sending off runners.

Is that a chinese algae eater?? :hyper:

Finally someone else who has one..They get such a bad rap. Mine happens to be very well behaved and very large. lol I really like the little fella. :)
