Found these at my local Maidenhead Aquatics for £9 each or £24 for 3
I just had to get me a trio! I plan on buying six more when I have the money :)
What a great buy! :good:

More pictures to come! :snap:

Congratulations! Very nice buy. You Brits have some great Cory people. They get your stores going so quickly with the latest. C. robinae is all the rage with the breeders now. It is always nice to ask if they can tell you who they got them from and if they are wild caught or aquarium bred. Later you may be interested to know if you ever breed them.

Thanks :)
They're real characters.
The RTBS did have some issues about them venturing near her cave :shifty:
But after the addition of lots of plants and rocks they're not finding it too hard to escape!

As I said earlier, I plan on getting six more so I may well start a breeding project! :)

Corys do not recognize territories--they are not territorial. So watch any territorial fish, Cichlids and Sharks for instance. They will take issue with any free wheelers like Corys. As the territorial fish mature they only get more territorial. That is why Cory keepers in general advise against keeping Corys with Cichlids and sharks.

I've had the RTBS three years so yeah, she's as mature as it gets.
Chases the rainbows round almost non-stop.
Tends to leave the corys alone though :)

You may well get hooked! Corys are much more addicting I think than Bettas. They are personable characters and are an increasing challenge to breed. They also have a seemingly unending number of species to acquire!

Hey drewry, the dealer you're getting your Virginae from is getting some Robineae in today, so I may be getting some of these as well this week!!! :good:

I thought the reply was rather odd but hey, who knows what goes on there across the big pond.

But thank you for letting me know.

Cheers!
