My New Betta =)

He's not as beautiful as some I've had in the past but I sort of fell for him. Bought him yesterday and he needs a name!!!

It doesn't matter if he isn't the best looking Betta in the world, I think it's the personality of these fish that makes them different and unique, and if he makes you happy, thats all that matters

I ended up calling him Pluto. Most of my bettas have been named after universy stuff.

He's doing just fine. Probably the most aggressive betta I've had as well. He loves to flare at everything and the turquoise colour is really coming out.

It's a 10 gallon tank. Since I got him I've changed the substrate to sand and added some live plants for him so it's looking a little different. I'll try and add some pics later.

I know it's been well over a year, but I thought I'd update this journal instead of starting a new one. The tank is still fully planted with java fern, anubias and vallis. Pluto's doing good. He's a real bull of a betta.

He now lives with 8 purple harlequins as I had something of an epidemic of neon tetra disease. He likes hiding in the anubias and jumping out at them. I'll take a picture of the tank tomorrow if anyone's interested.
