Congrats! I changed to all live plants about a month after I got him. The plant in the pic is needle java fern.

Yup. Back then, the 10 gallon was my quarantine tank. I never use live plants in quarantine tanks because I can't boil them. I decided to leave him in there because it's a nice size/shape for a betta, planted it, and now I use a 5 gallon for quarantine instead.
