My Mudskipper Paludarium

I'm getting used to it already...
Pics look pretty bad though.

That made mudskippers look cute!!! Absolutely adorable in your video! And GREAT WORK on your DIY hardscape. Coming from a natural aquarium background, it is to me totally magical how well you've made that tree root look!

Amazing job :good: never knew what mudskippers are til now. Theyre adorable. Theres a mudskipper set-up @ a pet store near me, I have to check it out now.

I agree, should be nominated for FOTM or TOTM even. Again amazing job and I subscribed. Theyre lucky to have you as a pet owner, keep us updated :D

A couple of quick shots of the tank.

All and all, not too badly discolored from the Valoya led fixture.

This particular species (Periophthalmodon septemradiatus) has blue eyes.
Someone mentioned a while ago that his skippies have bright red hue in the eyes. He didn't specify the species.

Most of the pics of mudskippers seem to show no other color than black in the eyes...

Thank you. Everyone's been inspiring to me, I am happy to return some.

A short story of how sometimes you don't want to trash plants that look bad.

Here are my Samolus valeradis when I bought them:

Here's what they looked like a few weeks after planting:

Initially, they went worse and lost all leafs. At that time I buried the roots onto a pool.

In a month, this happened:

Kept going:
