Phew!
Ok well thats it for now.
More later perhaps ;)

Looking good  . Quick question, what wattage is the halide? I presume it was from marine lighting?, and is it a 10,000K bulb? I'm using the same ones over my new reef.

ste :)

Its a Marine Lighting Halide (although it was got cheaper via Coral Garden ;) ).

400w 10k bulb.

At the moment this is the only lighting there is. My plans were to add actinics but i simply havent got around to working on the hood properly yet.

Im also considering a 14K bulb as i like the extra colour that can be produced from them.

Wow, what a gorgeous tank!

I love the 6-line wrasse, one of my favorites! :flex:

it looks good from what I can see. I'm thinking of building one myself for
my 55 gallon. right now it's on a wrought iron stand, been on it for about
4 years, and I don't like the looks of it.

did you go by any special guidelines specific for a tank, or did you just
make sure it would support and stay level?

(sorry for turning this into a hardware post)

I used a great site for DIY Projects.

reef eden
