My kids tank!

Sold my Trigon 350 to set up a 120G reef .....

So i bought my kid a little tank to keep some of her fave fish!

Used a fake background with the left side set forward to hide the heater, filter and air pipe to the airstone.....pics dont do it justice - looks superb!

Stock:

3 Cardinals
2 White Clouds
2 Corys (tiny!)
1 Bamboo shrimp/2 Ammao (found hiding in the trigon! thought the Firemouths had eaten them all!)
1 Snail....glad to be away from the big fish - never saw him in the trigon
few Khulies
1 spotty loach thing

doing 10% weekly water changes having set it up with my water and filter media from the trigon - all levels spot on for 2 weeks now!

my kid will love this! i put up her ank and mine gets the cool feedback

corner tank had co2 injection, undergravel heating, 2 X 39w T5 Arcadia tubes, 2 X 55w T% power compacts and 2 X 15w T8's

Also dosed No2, etc, etc............looked good but was as much work as marine so sold it all and marine tank arrives Thursday

yup, it's a 3D background..i got one when i was in hong kong, it's pretty nice.

the thing is that i only have one (fits the average 30G) my tank is a 55G so i only have 1 and it would look weird, so i just put it behing the tank..ppl at the air port looked at me in a weird way

lovely little tank tiggs and glad to see you were able to save some of the fish from the trigon, your kids will love it i'm sure.

shame you let the trigon go, that really was a lovely tank oh well onto the next project.

good luck with the reef, have you kept one before? marine kind of scares me as i know absolutly nothing about SW, the fish, the coral, water params etc.... nothing...


i'd love to follow the setup if your doing a thread on it.

What would look really cool is if you had some pleants in between the background, jsut to break it up a bit.
