My Fish Just Died

My fish just died, i was treating them for white spot and i just found my favourite fish, woowoo, dead. I dont know what to do with him as i would usually get my boyfriend to deal with them but he is away

you mean what to do with the dead body? net it out asap. i bury mine in the garden.

I netted him out straight away. I dont have a back garden but my parents do, I will ask to bury him in there. I feel so bad.

Net him up, put in a box then take your favourite place, collect a big pile of wood, construct a pyre then light with a match. Wear sack cloth and cover yourself in ashes and wail uncontrolably........


or

...... you could just put it in the bin ?

Flush the fish!

Flushing a fish is a bad idea, if the fish has a disease, which in my case it does, depending where the toilet system leads it could affect other fish in the area.

Flushing your pet won't effect other fish, he will go somewhere else where the water is neutralized and all bacteria killed.

Im not usually this sentimental to my fish, its just one of those things you had to see. He was lovely. I just feel like i have failed him i guess.

flush the liitle dude if its small enough.i had to wrap my firemouth in paper plastic jar then in the bin

Im putting him in a toilet roll tube stuffed with toilet paper then burying him. That way he can give something to the earth and the cardboard with degrade with the paper.

I am pretty new to this fish thing. One of my fish has just died too and i am sooo upset. I feel so bad
