my first spawn attempt

sorry havent updated in a while, had some other things to attend to.
Well after a few days they went into a not wanting to eat stage, no MW , BBS, decapped eggs, powdered fry food, egg yolk nothing no one ate. I dug what little java moss out of one of my tanks and put in there. By this time I was down to about 20 fry. I had no other problems, PH, temp, everything was within accepted ranges from the various research I have done. But it appears for some reason the Java moss may have "saved" them to give them a haven to hang in. The ones that were left started eating. and I have a huge fat one that looks like he is a week older than the rest...LOL I Have approximately 15 babie left but they all hide so it is hard to get accurate count.

anyone in the live bearer section could help you but basically on Livebearers all you need is a male and female and let nature take its course. :hey:

I have like 4 good sized ones and the rest are still small....so you may only get to see the 4 ...LOL The funny thing is some days I think I have about 8 then the next it looks like 20 are in there. they like to hide in the Java moss, so I am not sure how many my have....they love to eat decapped brine eggs (unhatched and micro worms)

ROLL TIDE BABIES!! Yay! I am so excited! Hurry and get us pictures! :kana:
