hi ive got a fantail goldy named (jim)
and i had this plant in my tropical tank that was growing big so i trimmed some of the plant off and floated it in my goldfish tank will this be ok or have i made a mistake before you say anything YES the plant i put in can be trimmped down :D

plz say somthing if ive done somthing wrong by moving a plant from a warm water to a coldwater tank!

Is there supposed to be a picture?

Anyway, to answer your question, there's nothing wrong with moving a plant from warm water to cold provided the plant can tolerate the different temps (some plants grow better in particular environments than in others - just like fish). Also, if you move plants from a tank containing sick or generaly unhealthy fish, you can infect the other tank but if both tanks are healthy, there's nothing to worry about.

ok thnx there was suppost to be a pic lol but it didnt work and im happy to say that both tanks are healthy.
